From application to approval — exactly what to expect.

We’ve simplified the auto finance experience into five clear steps. Whether you have strong credit or no credit at all, the steps are the same — and we’ll tell you upfront what’s happening at every stage.

Step 01

Submit your free online application

You complete our short, secure application from any device — typically in under 5 minutes. You give us basic personal details, employment and income, and what you're looking for in a vehicle. We do not perform a hard credit pull at this stage; your credit score is not affected.

Step 02

We match you with a dealer

Once your application is in, we route it to a dealer in our Canadian network whose lender mix best fits your situation — credit profile, income type, vehicle preference, and location. Each application typically goes to one dealer, not five. You won't be flooded with calls.

Step 03

Your dealer presents your approval

The dealer reviews your file with their lender partners (banks, credit unions, manufacturer finance arms, and specialty lenders depending on your situation) and comes back with what you’re pre-approved for: budget, term length, interest rate, and the vehicles those terms work for. This is where the hard credit check happens, and only with your written consent.

Step 04

Choose your vehicle and sign

You pick the vehicle that fits your approval. Your dealer walks you through the agreement, financing terms, and any optional add-ons (you can decline anything you don't want). Most signing is done electronically — no branch visits required.

Step 05

Drive away

Your dealer handles vehicle prep, paperwork submission, and pickup or delivery. For drivers in remote communities, your dealer coordinates the right transport method — road, winter road, rail, or sealift. If you're trading in an existing vehicle, that's handled in the same handover.

Common questions about the process.

Does applying affect my credit score?

No. Submitting your application does not trigger a hard credit pull. A hard credit check is only performed by a specific lender once you've chosen to proceed with their offer — and only with your written consent.

How long does approval take?

Most applicants hear back from a matched dealer within one business day. Complex files (self-employed, no credit history, remote delivery) may take 48–72 hours.

What if I've been refused at a dealer before?

A past refusal at one dealer doesn't disqualify you. Different dealers work with different lenders, and our network includes dealers whose lender mix is built for bruised credit, no credit history, and non-traditional income. We match your file to a dealer suited to your situation.

Can I trade in my current vehicle, even if I still owe money on it?

Yes. Many applicants still owe a balance on their trade-in. Note it on your application and your matched dealer will factor the remaining balance into your financing options.

What does it cost to apply?

Nothing. Applying is free and we never charge applicants. We're a matching service paid by our dealer network when an application leads to a completed financing arrangement.

Will my information be sold to other companies?

No. Your application is shared with one Canadian dealer in our network and the lenders that dealer works with. We do not sell your information to broader lead aggregators or marketers.

What if I live somewhere a winter road only opens in February?

Tell us your location on the application. Dealers in our network who serve remote and seasonal-access communities can plan around road, winter road, rail, or sealift timing — your dealer coordinates the transport method that fits your community's access window.

What if I change my mind?

You're under no obligation at any stage. Starting an application doesn't commit you to anything, and you can decline any offer. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing our unsubscribe address or replying STOP to any SMS.
